One of the best known views of Ayton Village -
Suggitt's Ice-cream shop on the left, with Ayton School in the
background. Suggitt's was - and still is - an essential stop for almost all
old scholars.

Station Road, Great Ayton - what used to be
Cockrell's general store - now a bistro - a stop for many old scholars on a shopping trip
to the Village

This photo was taken in October 2000 and
deserves to be included. A little further up Station Road, it is very much connected with the School over the years and -
happily - has survived unscathed.

This is a new photo taken during the June 2000 Reunion and shows the view from the top of Low Green -
with Roseberry Topping in the
distance.
