One of the best known views of Ayton Village - Suggitt's Ice-cream  shop on the left, with Ayton School in the background. Suggitt's was - and still is - an essential stop for almost all old scholars.

Station Road, Great Ayton - what used to be Cockrell's general store - now a bistro - a stop for many old scholars on a shopping trip to the Village

This photo was taken in October 2000 and deserves to be included. A little further up Station Road, it is very much connected with the School over the years and - happily - has survived unscathed.
