For many years this was the entrance to the Girls' School - out of bounds for the fellers! This picture shows a change of use - Junior School entrance and boys' changing rooms.

To most old scholars this photo shows "A" dorm on the top floor, the science block below and the boys' changing rooms below. Latterly the top floor became the language lab' with the IT block on the ground floor.

Leven Hall senior pupils' residential block, built in the 1960s when demand for places at Ayton School was at an all time high.

The Waltons - Teachers' Houses

The Waltons. Teachers' houses built shortly after the War and extended from their original semi-detached format to a terrace.

This photo was only taken in September 2001 but is very much a part of the School buildings scene.
