Boys in the Swimming Pool again 1904 -
this photo - although very similar to the one above - shows the
construction of the changing and sheltered area, which was not
demolished until 1945 or 46.
F. Rivers Arundel - Headmaster - can just be seen
in the panama hat.
J. Spence Hodgsons - a well-known personality of
the time, who seemed to visit School on an annual basis -
and nine best boy swimmers after a performance before the girls
1905.

The
Swimming Pool 1955
The Pool seen here - and in photos below - as most will
remember it, was built in about 1946.
Many OS, who experienced
both old and new, probably preferred the old as it was less
drafty and - if you weren't swimming - provide shelter against
the elements.
