This photo - in front of the Royal Oak (note the coach entrance) - probably dates from 1926 and shows Margaret Ramsdale (Waites) 1936-38. Her mother - second left - Doris Waites (Winward), and aunt - RHS - Alice Burt (Winward) were both old scholars - 1906-07 and 1902-06 respectively. Our thanks to Margaret Ramsdale for the photo.

This photo appeared in an unmarked album. What the event was is not recorded but David Artiss (1946-48) has e-mailed to say the car centre foreground is a 1930 or '32 Morris Oxford (his parents had one) so this photo must date from the 1930s, and cetrainly before the War - couldn't get petrol after 1939! 
 

This photo of High Green appeared in a collection of 1970s material. The date would probably be much earlier - probably during WWII as there are very few cars and the Green is very in need of cutting.
